WBPC
SPRING 2017 NEWSLETTER
I am delighted to be writing you as we celebrate our 20th year in business at the West Byfleet Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic. Since opening in 1996 the clinic has grown in size, experience and reputation as a centre of excellence in the field of musculo skeletal physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
We now have a fantastic team of 9 senior Chartered Physiotherapists, highly skilled in the assessment and treatment of neck and back/spinal problems, joint pain, post-operative rehabilitation, gait analysis and functional movement assessment and re-education. As well as hands-on manual therapy and soft tissue techniques, specific home exercise programmes are planned for each individual and acupuncture is also used when appropriate. Shernaz Screwvala is a specialist in women’s health, treating incontinence problems, as well as pre- and post-natal issues.
Home visits are available if patients are unable to get to the clinic, such as following total knee/hip replacement surgery and the clinic does have access for wheelchair users should this be necessary.
The physiotherapists have interests in many sports, such as running/athletics, rowing, cycling, tennis, golf, horse-riding, skiing and swimming, netball, hockey, football, cricket and rugby. We also treat musicians and drama students as one of our physios, Claudine Chiplin, also does some work at the Guildford School of Acting and another physio, Sue Gaastra, is a member of the Woking Amateur Operatic Society.
As the sole Director of WBPC I am passionate about ensuring that our clinic continues to serve the people of this and the surrounding communities, should the need arise for them to require the expert, experienced services of a Chartered, Private Physiotherapist. I am very grateful for the support given to us as we have become an established business in this area over the past 20 years. We look forward to continuing this working relationship in the coming years, as patients are given informed choice of where they are able to receive local, expert and easily accessible physiotherapy treatment, which we at WBPC are able to provide.
If you are ever passing by the clinic please do not hesitate to come in; we would be delighted to meet you and show you around. Our website link below is kept updated by our Practice Manager, Jane Armitage, and gives more information about us at WBPC.
Yours sincerely
Hilary
